Fields of Marmite?

Fields of Marmite - Heaven for some, hell for others

I've just spoken to the intrepid travellers. Dad informs me that they are in a valley outside Ulaanbaatar, camping in a field that is full of Marmites!!!

HUH?????!!!!!

I didn't know that Marmite wasn't a man made product, but in fact I had been spreading squashed Mongolian animals on my toast all this time!

I was relieved when he corrected himself to tell me he was actually looking at marmots - small furry squirrel/rabbit type things pictured below. PHEW!!
