Well done boys!

Congratulations to the Socceroos for the game yesterday. We may not have won, but they played brilliantly and didn't let playing against one of the world's best sides phase them one bit. Even friends of mine (male and English) who delight in pointing out that Australia has just been beaten in the Ashes/Rugby/Cheese rolling admitted that they played well.

I do not approve of Viduca's tackle on Ronaldo, it was completely unnecessary and far too rough. We don't need to play dirty to win.

Even though it seems he's facing a disciplanary panel for bad language, Harry Kewell was brilliant, he was all over the ball from the minute he came on the pitch. At this rate, I may be leaving Arsenal for Liverpool.

It was funny to watch it at the pub yesterday, I'm sure that 2 years ago Richie never imagined he'd one day be sitting in a bar watching and Australia/Brazil World Cup match with 3 loud Aussie girls (one of which would be his wife) who were screaming and shouting at the screen like blokes!! We should also probably appologise to Howard, a friend of Alex's who must have thought we were all completely nuts and we probably not see again! Sorry Howard, we're not always like that, we were just making an effort for you!
